everything we know of has it's own unique nature. we have 90 different elements, such as gold, aluminum, oxygen, sulfer, carbon,...all are made of the same three basic components, neutrons, protons, and electrons. yet these simple structures are so different from one another, all of which have there own distinctive natures (properties or laws) governing what they can do, how they look, what they can mix with, whether or not they conduct elctricity... each has it's own melting point, boiling point, and vaporizing point, so according to the temperature of it, its appearence changes. at this level we can observe various laws at work, "physical laws", and none are broken.

then, we look at the universe, the other end of the spectrum. it is made up of about 10^80 atoms (that's a one with 80 zeros after it{an interesting side note:it's been said that the chances of the elements for a DNA just coming together through random happenings is 1 in 10^40,000[1 with fourty thousand zeros] this number would take up over 17 pages in paperback without commas}). in it's vastness we see the same physical laws at work, maintaining order on a magnitude so far reaching, that you have to wonder at the stregnth of those physical laws. they are at the begining and the end of the physical spectrum.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Revelation 22:13

now, there are many natural laws (cause and effect) that are more relevant to us. if you walk off a cliff, you fall (the law of gravity). if you don't eat, you starve. if you don't look both ways when crossing,... well, you get the idea. these laws are not broken either, you may walk off a cliff, but... then we have laws to govern our actions, both legal and moral. do we get away with breaking these? my observations have convinced me that we don't. if you have an affair (commit adultry), you might be able to fool people but your heart becomes hardened, you need more and more to be satisfied, or you cary a guilt around in you that you can't ignore.

now the nature of mankind has been altered from it's original state, which was, according to the bible, rightiousness (rightness), where we wouldn't have chosen to break laws or rules. now we don't seem to be able  to rule our desires (to decide which ones to have or not have), and sometimes even strugle to not give in to some of the bad ones. conflict of the will turns into conflict between people then between nations....

how did we get this way? the bible says:

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. genesis 2:7-9

And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. genesis 2:15-17

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. genesis 2:21-25

Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? genesis 3:1

????> one of God's creations questioning God's authority!... hmmmmm... let's look into this a little deeper. if we look at what schofield notes says:

[2] {The serpent} The serpent, in his Edenic form, is not to be thought of as a writhing reptile. That is the effect of the curse # Ge 3:14 The creature which lent itself to Satan may well have been the most beautiful as was the most "subtle" of creatures less than man. Traces of that beauty remain despite the curse. Every movement of a serpent is graceful, and many species are beautifully coloured. In the serpent, Satan first appeared as "an angel of light" # 2Co 11:14*

*For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 2 corinthians 11:13-15

it does seem like if satan had come right out and said, "hey, i'm the devil, why don't you be bad with me so we can all burn in hell together?", he probably wouldn't have gotten very far. so it makes sense that he would adopt (even invent) desception as a method of obtaining his goals. what are his goals? Isaiah says:

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet. Isaiah 14:12-19

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: genesis 3:2-4

????> now this vial creature actually calls God a lier!, suggesting that there is nothing to fear in dissobedience toword God's command.

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. genesis 3:5

sound familiar? even today this concept rings loud and clear, in secular humanism, new age, even the government shouts it outloud (political corectness), defying and even attacking any stance on God's word that His holy (set apart) people dare take. you can see it in the way morrals have been slammed. take for instance, abstanance from premarital or extramarital sex: it's ok to teach children in school to use profilactics, but not abstanance, even though studies show profilactics aren't totaly safe. acceptance of abortion is also being forced on us, even though well over 90% of women that have them regret it so much that it causes mental anguish and sickness, and many times even death. they are not safe. i'm not attacking people for what they believe or do, i'm merely pointing out some facts. wisdom is many times confused with knowledge or even cleaverness, but if you know better than to walk in front of moving vehicles, but do it anyway, was your knowledge at all wisdom?

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. genesis 3:6-7

notice the first thing they do after they have done wrong. they cover themselves. oops, this doesn't work! but also notice that God covers them so it seems He hasn't quit caring for them.

And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. genesis 3:8-12

this is Adam's second attempt to cover himself,... the woman,... you ,... gave.... he actually blames God because He gave Adam the woman. by now you can already see the fallen nature at work in mankind. satan's plans have succeded, or have they?

And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. genesis 3:13-15

uh-oh, i don't think this was part of his plan, remember, he was going to rise above The Most High? now the one who's word never fails has proclaimed that there is judgement for those who come against His ways, coming by way of the woman's desendent, The Messiah!

the serpent's bruise:

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Hebrews 2:14

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1st John 3:8

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Revelation 12:7-9

The Messiah's bruise:

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 53:5-12

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. genesis 3:16-24

the ground was cursed for Adam's sake, this sounds like a contradiction in terms, unless maybe it's to make us reach out to the only one that can save us.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Romans 3:23-28

i offer you, right now, a chance to forever change you destiny. accept the free gift of eternal life that only comes by the name of Jesus, and you will be restored to the fellowship with your Father God, that you deep down inside know is missing from your life.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it Matthew 7:7-14

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way ? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way , the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. John 14:5-20

Lord Jesus, I ask you to forgive me of my sin, and come into my life, restore me to yourself that I might have that abundant life you told us about. Thank you for dying on the cross to pay my debt and help me to know you in a personal way. I ask you to lead me through the rest of my life through the hard times and the good times to always look and come to you for all I need. I also ask you for your Spirit to live in me. I will worship you all the days of my life and even forever. Hallelujah.

i would be so happy to hear that you have just recieved Jesus into your life, please e-mail me, dc@bmath.net, and i will be happy to answer any questions or point you in the right direction. see you there!
